A few years ago I was so fortunate in being able to collaborate with Wild Heart Ranch's very own Greg Silva who not only helps with animals there but also has taken such wonderful photographs of them. Greg has had his work in some very fine photography exhibits. I was given permission to do artwork of the WHR animals and then I would send prints of the art for their fundraisers and things like that.
Greg took a lot of photos of the young rescued owls. These three poses were put together into one painting, as they all shared the same spirit -- expecting something good to be arriving shortly! The only difference is, their "mom" was a WHR person and not an owl!
